Gomba District Farmers Association is purely non political and non religious organization, promoting household livelihood and poverty reduction through sustainable agriculture, democratic governance, good management, transparency, and accountability amongst individual farmers, farmer groups, and the community at large in Gomba District.
The Associations formation was enhanced by Mpigi District Farmers Association in 2012 to cater for Farmers wellbeing in the new setting. In 2013, the association got registered under the Community Based Organization and NGO Act, and was issued with a Community Based Certificate. The association partners with Mpifa and Vi- Agroforestry to effectively address challenges in farming communities.Gomba District Farmers Association Strategic Plan 2014 – 2019 envisages our mission to lead in transformation of subsistence agriculture to commercial production through provision of farmer driven advisory services on production, financial, marketing and community development.

Rhoda has worked with GODFA for 5 years and holds a Masters degree in Agriculture and Applied Economics and a Bachelors in Agribusiness Management, Diploma in Computer Science and Business Studies, Certificate in resource mobilization for Rural Development and Organic Agriculture.
Mulindi ThomasDirector Finance
Thomas has worked with GODFA for 5 years and holds an ACCA (UK), Master of Business Administration, Bachelor of Business Administration, Certificate in Customer Care and QuickBooks Certificate.
Angella NakiyingiAdmin & Accounts Assistant
Angella has worked with GODFA for 3 years and holds Bachelor of Business Administration from and attended several accounting related workshops.
Emmanuel TwinamasikoMonitoring & Evaluation Officer
Emmanuel has worked with GODFA For 3 Years as Monitoring officer and has attended several workshops related to monitoring and evaluation. Holds bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences From Makerere University and has attended several monitoring short courses
Deo AyebaleExtension Worker
Deo has worked with GODFA Since 2011 as a field extension worker and has spear headed tree planting in Gomba District since 2012. he holds a Masters in Environment Science, a Bachelors of Science in Environmental Management and a Diploma in Forestry.
Fred HategekimanaExtension Worker
Fred has worked with GODFA For 4 years and holds a Bachelors degree of Environmental Science, Bachelors of Science in Agriculture. He has also attended several workshops related to Agriculture and smart farming.
